Sunday mornings at Mercy Hill are a gathering time for worship and community.

They represent a special focused time of celebration and instruction beyond what we're doing during the week, and for the purpose of equipping our church family, as a larger group, in the mission of God.

Below are details of what to expect and how you can participate.

  1. Dress is casual.
  2. Expect the morning to last from 9:45 to 11:30 or 12:00.
  3. Plan to arrive by 9:30 if you have kids. Service will start promptly at 9:45 and will run till about 11:00.
  4. During the worship, you'll experience a group of 30-50 people singing, praying together, reading creeds, discussing God's word, and listening to a sermon.
  5. We will also celebrate Holy Communion (the Lord's Supper) every week. Details on how you can prepare to partake of the Lord's Supper can be found here.
  6. Some parts of the service involve conversation or dialogue with the topics or subject matter being presented. Questions are welcome.
  7. Following our worship time, we enjoy a casual and informal time of eating brunch together. These are breakfast and lunch items that different families bring to share.
  8. Following brunch, sometime between 11:15-11:30, those who care to stay meet to discuss the nuts and bolts of what it means to be involved in a church plant. We call these meetings "launch team" meetings and discuss the worship service and the sermon, talk about what's happening "under the hood" of Mercy Hill, and practically how we can implement the rhythms of a missionary people in our day-to-day lives.
